Joint Event is Already Open

PokerNews and 888.com have joined forces to bring you PokerProForAYear, a league of tournaments that will end with one person being considered a Poker Pro, and winning an everything included sponsorship to four of the world’s greatest poker tournaments in 2008.

The tournament is offered at www.pokerproforayear.com and is sponsored by Pacific Poker – considered by many to be the world’s number one online casino and poker room; 888.com – another top poker room and online casino with over 23 million members; and PokerNews.com – the most extensive online poker authority. The winning package is worth roughly $15,000.

Each series in the tournament will offer freerolls and global freerolls. The freerolls will be $10+$1, & $500; the global freeroll winner will get a seat at an online international event. The tournament is 48 weeks long, and is the second one they have offered. It is exclusively for PokerNews.com players, and is divided up into six month mini tournaments. The ten finalists will get all expense paid trips to a secret location to play for PokerProForAYear.
