River Rock Casino Winners
It seems that if you want to play the
slot machines, and you want to win, one
of the best places for doing that would
be at the River Rock Casino just north
of Healdsburg in California. The casino
is run by the Dry Creek Rancheria Band
of Pomo Indians, and they have announced
their latest string of winners.
Several of their players have won at the
slot machines, starting with Annette
Gridley of Santa Rosa, CA. She won at
the Quick Hits slot machine on February
28th. Next up was Pascal Finnerty of San
Francisco, and Molly Wirtz of Santa
Rosa, who both won $25,000 at the 24
Karat slot machines on March 10th.
Casino officials were most excited by
Wirtz’s win as she is using the money to
pay for her son’s liver transplant.
Then with $20,000 wins there were Vivian
Reed of Oakland who won at the Triple
Sapphires slot machine on February 21st,
and Patrice Graham who won at the Hot
Hot Hot slot machine on March 4th.
Continuing down was Juan Ochoa of Napa
and Dave Wilson, also of Napa, who both
won $15,000. Ochoa won on the Double
Diamond slot machine on February 26th,
and Wilson won on the Red, White and
Blue slot machine on March 2nd.
Terry Kennedy won $12,000 on February
26th at the Double Spins 5 Times Pay
slot machine, and Paula Cecic-Karuzic
won $12,016 at the Triple Lucky 7’s slot
machine – both were from Santa Rosa as
well. Another Santa Rosa resident,
Anthony Young, won $10,000 on March 2nd
at the Quick Hit Progressive; and on
March 4th, Emma Scruggs and Jackie
Elliot of Rodeo both won the same
amount.
The amounts decrease from there, with
several winning $5,000 or more at the
casino’s slot machines. All told there
was about $215,000 won over the two week
course. One lucky winner, Anthony Young,
who had won $10,000 on the 2nd, won
again on the 5th – making his total
$16,275 – not bad for three days at the
casino.
