Cheaters Never Prosper

For all of those that try to win honestly at the slot machines, unfortunately there are a ton of people out there who try and win by cheating the system. In the past, slot machines were vulnerable to being cheated on because of the technology that they used to do it. However, it has gotten harder and harder to cheat the slot machines because of the way they are programmed now.

But this does not stop them from trying. The casinos say that every year they find people trying to cheat them while gambling. One of the best ways of cheating was using various implements to trick the slot machines into giving up money that was not theirs to take. However, with the advent of ticket in/ticket out technology – that has gotten much harder to do.

Before they would use things like light wands or monkey paws, but those won’t work with today’s technology. However, this does not keep the tables from still being vulnerable. Card counting for instance is not illegal, if you are working by yourself. However, in many cases people are working as a team to rip off the dealer, and that is illegal.

In some cases they have the assistance of the dealer as well. However, the casinos want to be very sure that people are aware that for all of those that are considering trying to cheat – it is almost impossible. Because whatever you have thought of trying to cheat them, someone else has already been arrested for it.

They even teach classes to dealers and casinos on how to be on the lookout for cheating in the casino, and make no mistake – you will be caught and you will be arrested. Then you will be banned from the casino for life and your name goes on a list for the other casinos to see as well. It is just not worth the risk.
