Venice is
Ready for Slot Machines
The Royal Palace Arcade is open and
ready for business. It may not be Las
Vegas, but it is offering their players
slot machines and that is really what
counts. Located in the back of the old
Basketville building at the corner of US
41 and Jacaranda Boulevard is a new slot
machine arcade – but it is anything but
glamorous.
If you are looking for a “trip to Vegas”
in your own back yard, you are going to
be sorely disappointed in the Royal
Palace Arcade. You will find hot dogs
instead of buffets and amateur acts to
entertain you as opposed to the likes of
Cher and Tina Turner. But it does have
slot machines and that may be all that
matters to you.
The slot machine arcade is planning on
adding in a restaurant eventually, but
for now this is as good as it gets. They
have 250 slot machines and free drinks
galore. They even have poker tables for
those that just don’t want to look at
the slot machines any more.
There are thirteen investors in this
slot machine palace and from the looks
of things it is going to make them their
money back and then some. Players say
that even though it isn’t Vegas, there
is still a lot of fun to be had there
and that it is simply a mini-casino for
Venice. With the new laws that are
passed, the arcade is perfectly legal,
although just a few years ago they would
have gotten into a lot of trouble for
trying to open this. Now people love it
and say that they are happy that they
are here.
