Germans Want to Ban Online Slot Machines

The online gambling industry is constantly fighting for its life. At a recent meeting of some of Germany’s biggest and brightest, there has been discussion of making online gambling illegal. The measure was not unanimously passed, but they are still looking for resolution so they can pass it on to the European Commission.

They have not cracked down as hard as the United States, as they have one important difference – they are not looking to stop Germans from playing the online slot machines, they just don’t want them coming into the country. The European Commission will then make a final decision on whether or not they are allowed.

The commission will have to decide how it works with the other countries in the commission, and whether or not crossing boundaries with online gambling will be affected. They want to make sure that those that want a ban on slot machines and gambling get it, and those that don’t want to ban the slot machines are able to keep running them.
