Online Gaming for Sports

Online gaming specialist iGaming Corporation has announced an addition to the family. Their subsidiary, IGC Entertainment Corporation has purchased the rotoplay.com online sports fantasy website. The transaction still needs to be approved by TSX Venture Exchange, but it looks positive that the $300,000 deal will pass.

iGaming is trying to change the marketability of their online gaming portfolio, and bring in online fantasy betting. The industry has been embraced by the legal community, which is unlike many other online gaming groups such as online slot machines.

The fantasy sports league betting has more than 18 million players bringing in more than $1.5 billion a year in North America – alone. The online gaming groups are growing at an annual rate of 10% which is huge for any industry.
With the new sanctions on the US online gaming community, online sports betting can only increase in business. They will wait to see what the UIGEA has to say eight months from now, but for now, iGaming has it sewn up.
