Where to Put Your Money

In this economy many are trying to figure out what might be a safe bet, or a good place to put their money to have it start working for them. Traditionally in the slot machine and gambling industry it has been mostly the casinos that have taken the lion’s share of the investor dollars – but that seems to be changing.

With the amount of money that the slot machines and tables are taking in from the consumers these days at the casinos, one would think that it might not be the best place to put their money. Across the world casinos are seeing their revenue numbers drop and their players either going to online slot machines or not gambling at all.

Experts say that perhaps we are looking at the wrong place to put our gambling dollars. They say that instead of putting them in the businesses that house the slot machines, namely the casinos, perhaps we should be putting our money in the people who make the slot machines. They say that the outlook for the group making the slot machines is much rosier as casinos will always buy new slot machines in an attempt to get clients in; but people won’t necessarily always play them.

Experts say that the return on the investment of a slot machine developer or manufacturer is probably going to be exponentially greater than that of the casino. They say that leisure industry is not likely to perform well in part due to their low balance sheet risk and the failing economy.
