Slot Machines Were Illegally Seized – UPDATE

Judge William Joseph ordered the Zanesville Police Department to return 10 slot machines to Edward Alexander of Zanesville. Alexander owns Aces High on Maple Avenue, and is the owner of the slot machines. The judge ruled that the police had violated Alexander’s Fourth Amendment rights when they seized the machines back in November.

Alexander is fighting charges that say he was operating an illegal slot machine parlor – and was actually hoping that some of the machines would be allowed to stay in as evidence to prove that he was not operating illegal games.
