LaPosta is Slot Machines Only

The La Posta Casino has decided not to go the way of table games and is having nothing but slot machines installed instead. The 20,000 sq ft casino is in one of the nicest gambling areas of California, and all they want to do is bring in slot machines and nothing else. The reservation is a little on the remote side as it is, but no hotel, no table games, and no bingo – just slot machines.

The La Posta Indian band like it that way – they say that their slot machine casino is “cozy” and that people will come to them to play the slot machines because they are a nice change of pace from all the other larger, more crowded casinos. They don’t even have the most slot machines around. They will have 349 slot machines, the nearby Golden Acorn has 750 slot machines, and the other casinos in the area have slot machines that range up to 2,500.

The slot machine casino is planning on bringing in an International House of Pancakes in February, but until then there isn’t even a restaurant or bar.
