Oaklawn Park Ready with Slot Machines 

Oaklawn Park is back and better than ever before because they have slot machines to offer their clients. The track has finally been able to open their expanded gambling parlor – where they can now offer a host of gambling options for them to participate in. The new addition will allow gamblers to take part in slot machine gambling as well as craps, poker, and blackjack.  

This addition to the thoroughbred track will undoubtedly bring in more gamblers and thus more revenue for both the track and the state. They are starting their season next week, and the slot machines and table games have arrived just in time for the beginning. This venue is the state’s largest tourist attraction already, as well as probably its oldest at 106 years old. But these slot machines have breathed a life into them that nothing else could have done. 

The track has to have a soft opening first so that they can be evaluated to make sure that they have worked out all of the bugs. Once they have completed that they will be able to open for the public and those slot machines will start buzzing. Oaklawn says it was imperative for them to move forward with the idea of expanded gambling, as with the state starting up a lottery they were going to have stiff competition for their gambling dollars. 

Those that have been able to participate in their soft opening say that the slot machines are very exciting and that it is more than they could have hoped for. Many said that they did not come to watch the races, but they certainly will come back to play the slot machines.
