Century City Announces Additions
The
Century City Casino and Hotel in
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which is
owned by Century Casinos Inc., announced
today that they would be making some
changes to their casino. They are
celebrating their first anniversary and
have a desire to shake things up a bit
while doing so.
They petitioned the Alberta Gaming and
Liquor Commission to allow them to bring
in more slot machines, and it was
approved. They will be gradually adding
54 more slot machines to bring their
total to 654 slot machines. They have
until the end of summer to add the new
slot machines to their lineup. This
would give them a 9% increase in slot
machines, just above the 6% increase
that The Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino
added – they just installed more slot
machines to bring their number to 370.
They will also be offering a bunch of
promotions in regard to their
anniversary, with a “Year of the
Century” theme. With the slot machine
floor getting redone, and an increase in
more games- as well as making the slot
machines “looser” – their players are
definitely the beneficiaries of the
casino’s anniversary. They are also
adding a high limit area, which some
customers have been clamoring for, and a
larger video poker selection as well.
They will also have a 29 slot machine
linked bar progressive that will make
any slot machine player happy. But they
are not just focusing on their Century
Casino – the company has also redesigned
their Womaks Casino and Hotel as well.
They are changing their restaurant
offerings and expanding their slot
machine gaming floor as well.
