Money for Casinos, Less for Patrons
Those
that play the slot machines at the
casinos are going to find that they are
almost being penalized for still
playing. The casinos, in an effort of
trying to bring in more money in a
doomed economy, have tightened their
slot machines so that they are paying
out less money.
Slot machines are already the number one
money maker for the casinos, so they
know that if they change their payouts –
even from 85% to 90% they are going to
reap the benefits to the tune of
millions of dollars. With less people
playing the slot machines at the
casinos, they have to make their money
somewhere.
But where does that leave those that are
still playing? Well, they are basically
making up for those that are not
playing. For everyone that is not
spending money at the slot machines,
those that are have to make up for those
others.
The casinos know that people will still
keep playing the slot machines. Those
that are partial to them won’t change to
another game, so they know that if they
are going to gamble, they are going to
play the same game.
Many won’t even realize that they have
changed. For those people that don’t
play all that often they won’t really
see the change. But for those that play
often enough that they can judge how
much their monthly wins and losses will
be on average, they will see less money
coming in overall.
