New Casino Opening

The state of Indiana has given the Indiana Live! Casino their approval to open their doors and start welcoming slot machine customers. The slot machine casino will open their doors at 10 am today and will remain open while they are in their temporary facility.

Once they have completed the construction on the permanent facility, they will be moving to their other space. They expect it will be somewhere around January 2009.

The slot machine casino had their VIP test on Friday and the Indiana Gaming Commission decided on Friday that they had complied with all required paperwork and that they had passed their soft opening. There was only one problem on Friday and it was handled easily.

The slot machine casino had lost power for about 15 minutes and they were unable to run their slot machines. However, emergency lights had come on in the interim and those players that had money in the slot machines when the power went out were reimbursed with vouchers.

They had hundreds of customers in the casino Friday night, and when speaking with the various people who had come to play the slot machines they were very happy with their experience. Those questioned said that they would definitely be returning.
