Casino School Opens
The
Supercroups Casino School is now
officially open for business. The school
is in Cathedral City, which seems like a
strange place to open a casino school.
The school’s goal is to help players
learn how to play, in addition to giving
them confidence in the game of Texas
Hold’em.
The school is actually in a great
location, as there are six casinos in
the area, all about 30 minutes from each
other, which means Cathedral City really
is in a prime position to offer such
classes. The owner of the school says
that classes are a great idea for anyone
considering going to a casino. They say
that if you are an inexperienced player,
you can feel “intimidated” by the
casino, as well as the other players.
There is also the fact that an
inexperienced player can ruin a game for
others at the table if they just don’t
know what they are doing.
The classes will meet for two hours, and
during that time students will learn the
rules of the game, as well as basic
strategies, lingo, etc. Texas Hold’em
will not be the only game covered; there
will also be craps, blackjack, pai gow,
and baccarat offered. The classes cost
$50 and have a maximum capacity of 10.
The classes will be every Thursday night
from 6 to 8 pm.
The school says that they are actually
anticipating everyone from novices
trying to learn the game to experts
looking for extra tips.
