Getting Table Games
The
state of Pennsylvania has made it
very clear that they want to see table
games legalized, and spread across the
state. Now that they have accomplished
the first part of that – the
legalization – they want to make sure
that everyone gets their chance to bring
in even more money for the state. The
various casinos have already started
requesting them, so it should really
only be a matter of time before it is
official.
They
know that they are going to make
millions off of the slot machines, and
the table games only increase that
amount exponentially. This is good news
for the casinos as well as they know
that they are making more money as well.
The Mohegan Sun had already filled out
their paperwork to get table games added
to their slot machines, and now the
state had approved them.
The
Gaming Control Board had given them
permission to move forward on their
table games, if they meet the conditions
that they set forth for them to have
them. They have to still follow the same
protocols as far as their internal
controls go, and they have to satisfy
any and all board regulations that might
come with having the table games. In
addition, they have to pay the licensing
fee of $16.5 million for the ability to
have them. They have until June 1st
to pay it.
The
state has started dealer school for 350
potential employees and the casino has
already started construction on the area
that they will go in.
