Flying? Or Slot Machine Playing?

If you are lucky enough to find yourself on a layover at Nevada’s McCarran International Airport, located in Las Vegas, know that your layover will not be a boring one. For those who enjoy gambling, and even those that don’t, you can play the slot machines while you wait for your next flight.

Of course you could always just go to the airport and play the slot machines, but why wouldn’t you just go to one of the many casinos that Nevada has to offer? However, McCarran is not alone, for the Reno/Tahoe International Airport has them as well, so you can layover there if you prefer.

The nice thing is, most times when you get stuck waiting in the airport you truly are fairly bored. But what if while waiting you actually won some money? That would definitely make the trip that much better. Of course, conversely, you could lose money at the airport, in which case not only would having a layover suck, but it would be made all the worse by the loss of your money into a slot machine.

But on the plus sign, you won’t be bored, for there are plenty to choose from, and sometimes a layover is just enough time to do something within the airport, but not actually leave the airport to do something fun. So this way you get the best of both worlds, especially if you live in a state where you can’t gamble!
