Looking at Obstacles
Ohio
is looking at having some issues getting
their slot machines regulated. It has
been well documented that the people of
the state of
Ohio have no
love for the slot machines, so when the
government announced that they would be
bringing them in on their own – without
voter approval – you can understand how
upset many of them would be with the
prospect of them coming in. But Ohio decided to forge on
ahead and do it anyway, which upset them
to the point where they are looking at a
long road ahead getting them approved.
With
the opening of the four casinos that
they have approved next year, they will
be looking at bringing in 20,000 slot
machines, which is a lot to start off
with. Many experts say that this is not
really the way that a state wants to
jump into the slot machine industry as
it is normally too fast and too intense
for most residents and they could be
looking at burn out if they go too fast.
If the state’s tracks get the right to
bring in slot machines as well, they are
going to be looking at even more games
coming in, which is really not
recommended by experts.
But
they are also looking at lawsuits that
have been brought against them, and a
number of other issues pertaining to the
slot machines being legalized. Experts
feel that the state needs to take it
down a notch, while
Ohio
feels that they need to intensify the
experience. This is a no win situation
for the residents as they are caught
between both sides.
