Facing Career Change
Now that
Russia has decided to curtail slot
machines and gambling, many in the
country are wondering what they are
going to do for their revenue stream.
Slot machines had become a huge problem
in the country, and many have been
fighting for a long time to get them
removed, or at the very least cut back
some. Now the country is finally doing
something about it.
Slot machine king Oleg Boyko is one of
those looking for a new career. There is
a new law that goes into effect next
July and this will greatly cut back on
the plethora of slot machines that are
currently all over Russia. The law moves
all slot machines out of the main areas
and relegates them to four separate
locations across the country. If you are
not located in one of the four areas,
the slot machines that you currently own
are now illegal.
The government decided to cut back on
the slot machines due to pressure, but
it also is attempting to make their
version of Las Vegas by limiting the
slot machines to only certain locations.
However, Boyko has spend a lifetime
working up his slot machine business,
and now it is all slipping away. He will
be forced to leave most of his current
locations vacant, which means that there
will be numerous storefronts that he
will either simply leave empty or
attempt to convert to something else.
Boyko’s Ritzio Entertainment has slot
machines from Romania to Peru, and made
millions last year. Now he has to figure
out what to do next.
