Global
Gaming Expo Doesn’t Disappoint
Every
year slot machine manufacturers,
distributors, and fans converge on Las
Vegas for the Global Gaming Expo. This
is an opportunity for slot machine
makers to show their latest ideas and
get feedback from those visiting to see
what is popular and what isn’t. It is a
great way to unveil some of the best and
brightest offerings in the slot machine
industry and find out what they have to
work on still, and what is good to roll
off the floor into the casinos.
Aristocrat unveiled their new “Jaws”
slot machine, which is a penny and
nickel machine. The infamous shark snaps
at players while the theme song
ominously plays in the back ground. It
devours their bonus points, and keeps
them on their toes.
However, that is just one offering.
There is the new “Two for the Money”
from DualVision that lets two people
play at once. It has two screens, two
wagering buttons, and a two-seater bench
for couples to play together. Bally says
that the slot machine is about bringing
people together – instead of splitting
up like most couples do when they come
to the casinos.
There is a new Multi Play slot machine
from International Game Technology. This
one allows four screens of the same
game, but they each let you wager a
different size wager before they spin.
Each screen comes out with a different
outcome, which makes it the same as
playing four games at once.
The list and the slot machine offerings
went on and on, with the manufacturers
showing their best wares. This is the
best way to see all of the slot machine
offerings that are out there.
