Not All Facts
are Available
Most people within the state of
Michigan are probably not aware of
percentages in tribal casinos that they
visit. Many questions have arisen by
players who are curious to know how much
he drives actually keep of their money
and how much they give back. But when
you ask this information slot machine
returns, etc. the tribe does not have to
tell you.
There is no public information available
regarding payback percentages on any of
Detroit's word Michigan's slot machines.
The tribes are not required by law to
release the information to their players
so they really don't know what the
payback is on the slot machines that
they are playing. According to the
Michigan Racing Commission the tribal
slot machines must follow the same
standards as those found in New Jersey
or Nevada. In New Jersey and in return
is 83%, and in Nevada is 75%, which
means that the tribes must return at
least 75% of their slot machine revenues
to be legal.
As they don't report their returns on
their slot machines, obviously they
don't report returns by location either.
This means that one casino within the
state of Michigan might return much more
to their slot machine players then
another casino does. But there is no way
of knowing this.
The fact of the matter is that if you
are playing at the slot machines you
have to expect that you won't
necessarily win a lot of money back.
Knowing the payback percentage on the
slot machines is not really going to
help you win, and if you are going to
play the slot machines in order to win
then you are probably already going to
lose. One should only go to the slot
machines to have a good time, not to win
a lot of money.
