Mohegan Bracing

The Mohegan Sun has seen a drop in their slot machine revenues, but they are not concerned. They know that the country is in the midst of a serious recession, and slot machine playing is the last thing on their mind.

They have been seeing a drop in revenues, although they bounced back briefly last month. However, revenues are down again, and they say that with casinos hurting across the country, they would not expect to be flourishing when others are not.

They are better off than many in that they had a huge crowd for their opening day of their new casino, but the crowds won’t stick around for long. They know that they had expected a much bigger turnout for their day to day business, and they also know that they are going to have to face the facts that they are not going to get it.

They say that they are simply bracing for the months ahead and hoping that it won’t last long. They are hoping that with the election that things might start to turn around for the country, and of course for them.

With slot machine revenue down across the country – they may be in for a long wait.
