More Slot
Options for Nevada
When
one thinks about the United States of America and the slot machine
industry, it is tough not to have
Nevada
come immediately to mind. The state has
long held the distinction of having more
slot machines than any other state and
they have worked hard to keep that
title. They have roughly 187,000 slot
machines in their state, located all
throughout – airports, casinos, corner
stores, you name it – they have slots.
But
now it looks as though they are going to
be getting more games from Multimedia
Games, Inc. The Nevada Gaming Commission
has given their approval for the
Austin
based slot machine company to start
selling or leasing their games in Nevada. The company has
been around since 19941 and has been
responsible for some of the best known
games out there today, even though their
roots were much simpler than that. They
were originally founded to create these
slot machines for the Indian markets,
commercial casinos, and charity bingo
markets. They then spread their wings
and started creating some of the most
interesting and intriguing games out
there today.
The
slot machine company said that this is
simply the first stages in the process
to get the ability to offer their games
in the state. The company has roughly
400 employees, with most of them based
in and around Austin. They have posted returns in the
millions over the past few years and
there is no reason to think that final
approval will not be granted.
