Casinos Pay Stars To Come
Being a
celebrity definitely has its ups and
downs. You have to have the paparazzi
following you everywhere you go, but you
also get to get in places that other
people cannot. You have to deal with a
complete invasion of privacy, but you
get away with crimes other people don’t.
It is give and take in any profession,
but celebrities definitely seem to get
the better end of it – especially when
it comes to casinos.
These days if you want your casino or
nightclub to be a success, you have to
enlist the services of a celebrity to
put you on the map. Three years ago, the
Las Vegas group showed Paris Hilton what
she was worth by offering her $20,000 to
come to PURE for her birthday. The
heiress agreed and got the money.
The casino, or whatever venue pays the
money because they know that they will
make it back in revenue over the next
few months or years, easily. People will
come in hopes of getting a glimpse of
whatever the star du jour is.
Take the Luxor Casino in Las Vegas as
well, they paid Britney Spears to make
an appearance there – and they made
infinitely more money off of her
appearance than they paid her. They make
money every time a celebrity steps out
to be seen at the casino because it will
draw in celebrity watchers from all
over. People will take vacations in Las
Vegas and just hit the spots that famous
people have been seen at.
Somehow it makes it all that much cooler
of a place to be in because a celebrity
was there first.
